11.14 [SFBirds] Strybing Arboretum
I made a quick stop on my way to work today and found at least one of the 2
female EURASIAN WIGEONS at the duck pond. There was another female wigeon there that
wouldn't show me it's bill and head in enough detail for me to confirm
which species it was. I also had a probable LINCOLN'S SPARROW in the New Zealand area
and found a ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER that I believe to be subspecies _orestera_ near the
bathrooms just west of the main entrance.

11.16 [SFBirds]
Pretty quiet today. Dan found a first winter THAYER'S GULL at the
boathouse at Stowe Lake and Harry's daughter Julie found a RED-BELLIED
SAPSUCKER near the entrance to the wild garden (?) at the western edge of
the Arboretum. The female EURASIAN WIGEON was still present at the duck
pond.
