Just about everything sounds OK for Dusky Flycatcher, which is by far
the most likely in that area. The pale bill can show up when light is
going thought it, as it would be if open, and the DUFL is more likely to
show paleness than GRFL which has a very dark tip vs. the not so dark
and solid color on the under mandible of DUFL. GRFL are regular
breeders in Sierra Co., but I've only seen them in the east side pine
with bitter brush, sagebrush, etc. I've not found them breeding where
manzanita or tobacco brush are major components. That is the realm of
