6.18 Father's Day Birds
Lots of activity this morning of expected species. Just as I was about to leave a SOOTY SHEARWATER flew by, the first of 20 or so that came by. I was hoping for a bigger pulse but it vaporized just as quickly as it materialized. Nice to see good numbers of COMMON MURRES at the Cliff House with 3+ PIGEON GUILLEMOTS and a PELAGIC CORMORANT rounding out the mentionables. An OSPREY was the only mentionable from the mesa at Lincoln Park while the East Wash offered only sublime views.
